Modern Greek

LCL offers the full sequence of language instruction in Modern Greek: Elementary levels I and II and Intermediate levels I and II. Modern Greek language courses are offered in alternate semesters, so students can complete the four-semester sequence in two years. Elementary I (MGRK 1101) and Intermediate I (MGRK 1103) are offered every fall and Elementary II (MGRK 1102) and Intermediate II (MGRK 1104) are offered every spring.  Students can complete the University Foreign Language requirement by taking these Modern Greek language courses and even continue to perfect their knowledge of Greek language and culture with upper level courses (MGRK3295  and MGRK3299).

The leader for the Modern Greek Program also supports opportunities for UConn students to study abroad in  Greece. For a description of these opportunities please follow this link to Paideia Study Abroad.
