In addition to the regular major and minor programs, LCL offers more limited language instruction programs. These allow students to acquire an introduction to languages that fall outside those offered for advanced study at UConn.  Students can complete the University Foreign Language requirement by taking the four course sequence of Elementary I and Intermediate language classes in Modern Greek, Irish, Hindi, Korean, and American Sign Language.
