Bio:
Rebecca Jordan is an Adjunct Professor of Elementary German in the Department of Literatures, Languages, and Cultures. She is a former Visiting Researcher at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society in Munich, Germany. Her research and teaching stress an environmental focus for German language learners, specifically on contemporary environmental challenges such as nuclear energy and animal rights. Her dissertation explored the depiction of cyborg animals in contemporary German and North American fiction.
