- Is Arabic hard to learn?
Learning any language takes time and practice. Students often find learning Arabic to be a profoundly rewarding – and sometimes challenging – experience. At UConn, we give you the support and tools to make steady progress. Many Arabic students accelerate their progress by studying Arabic intensively abroad or domestically over the summer. (We help you find strong programs and apply for scholarships.) Learning Arabic is ultimately an investment in yourself. It will open new social and cultural worlds, transform you, and set you apart professionally.
