Study Abroad and Summer Study in Arabic

Most Arabic and Islamic Studies students will spend at least one summer studying Arabic intensively, often abroad but sometimes domestically. Some students study abroad for a semester or a year! Arabic and Islamic Studies students are encouraged to begin discussing options for summer study and study abroad with the faculty advisor as early as possible. Faculty will guide you to strong and affordable programs, support your applications for scholarships, and help you plan when study abroad and/or summer study would make sense for you and your goals.
