The University of Connecticut’s Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center is pleased to announce a new scholarship award. The PRLACC Scholarship was established this year and honors a current UConn student who has demonstrated a commitment to Latino issues through leadership and service to the community. The scholarship award is for up to $1,000.00.

Eligibility
Eligible applicants must: (1) demonstrate involvement with, and commitment to, Latino issues through leadership and service to the community at UConn and beyond; (2) must have a B average; and (3) be a current UConn undergraduate or graduate student.
Application
To apply for the award, the applicant must: (1) complete all items on the application form including the essay and references; (2) submit a resume; and (3) enclose an unofficial transcript. These documents must be submitted to the Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center, 2110 Hillside Rd, Unit 3188, Storrs, CT 06269-3188. Selected applicant(s) will be announced at the Recognition Banquet.
