The Major in French and Francophone Studies
The French major consists of a minimum of 30 semester credit hours at the 3200 level in French.
18 credits from the core courses and 12 credits from one of the specialized track:
�French for the Global Community� or �French Cultural and literary studies�.
Students must also receive 12 semester credit hours of 3200 level in �related� courses.
Study abroad in our Paris program is required (student studying in Paris may earn up to
15 credits towards the French Major).
