BA in English literature, minor in Italian Studies from The Colorado College, 2002

MA in Italian Literature and Culture from Boston College, 2007

Bio:

Born in Wyoming, USA, she received her BA in English literature with a minor in Italian Studies from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  In the years following, she has lived and worked in Italy as an English teacher, working with students of all ages, from nursery school children to businessmen and women to pensioners.  Interspersed with these international teaching experiences, she has also taught Italian in the US at both the college and high school level, during which time she also obtained her MA in Italian Literature and Culture from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.  She is currently in the PhD program in Italian Literary and Cultural Studies and is interested in the effects and use of language in 20th century Italian literature.
